Gothenburg Streetphoto Festival - UX/UI design and brand identity

Website UI/UX and brand identity for Gothenburg Streetphoto Festival (GSPF).

GSPF is Scandinavia’s first street photography festival. They reached out to me with an idea about launching Northern Europe’s first street photography festival and told me how they wanted to bring like-minded, passionate people together. The first requirement was a functional and eye-catching website and brand identity to make their idea a reality.
The brand identity included a logo, and a guide for brand colours and fonts. I wanted the logo to be used in partnership with imagery, since that is the main focus point for the organisation. The website was created in both English and Swedish to ensure maximum reach. Functionally it allowed the user to purchase festival tickets, obtain festival information, access to compete in four photography competitions and join the GSPF organisation as a member and lots more.

The logo was designed in three variations for flexibility on print, social and web.

GSPF is not only a yearly festival in Gothenburg, they also host a street photography competition. The website allows the user to compete in four different categories, pay their competition fee and view their images. Once the nominated images has been selected, they are showcased on a ‘nominated’ page.

GSPF hosts many photography presenters during the days of the festival. The client wanted the festival goers to be able to find out more about them. This page shows all presenters, some of their work and links to socials with the help of pop-up windows.
